At De Kust Holiday Homes you have come to the right place for a relaxing stay in one of our holiday homes in and around Callantsoog. You will find many of our accommodations at the 'Buitenplaats Callantsoog' holiday park, but there are also holiday homes available in the seaside resorts of Groote Keeten, Schoorl and Sint Maartenszee.

Activities on the coast

    The beach

    North Holland is of course known for its beautiful, wide sandy beaches. Zandvoort is one of the most popular seaside resorts, but of course there are even more beautiful beaches. For example, the beaches of Egmond aan Zee and Julianadorp are a lot less busy, which means that you can fully enjoy the peace, the beach and the sea.

    Discover Texel

    Also take the ferry and discover charming Texel. Texel belongs to the province of North Holland and is one of our most beautiful Wadden Islands. The Wadden Island has a lot of fun to offer. There are many fun activities to do, such as mudflat walking, climbing in the climbing park, touring on a Solex, visiting a Texel beer brewery and horse riding through the dunes and on the beach.

    Shrimp fishing

    Not going to the beach? That is possible, because a boat sails from the harbor of Den Oever and will fish for shrimp with you. During the return trip, some of the large shrimps are cooked on board, you can then peel the shrimps and of course taste them. In addition to shrimp fishing, you also have a chance to see spoonbills and seals.

    Kiting and power kiting

    Do you like kite flying and power kiting? Then you can go to various beaches in North Holland. For example, you can fly kites and power kites on the beaches of: Callantsoog and Julianadorp aan zee. Of course, kite flying requires wind, but fortunately there is always some wind on the coast of North Holland. From recreational kite flying and stunt kiting to power kiting, it is all possible here.

De Kust Vakantiehuizen is located in Callantsoog in North Holland and therefore offers the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing holiday on the North Sea. Callantsoog offers plenty of activities and sights. There are plenty of walking and cycling routes through the beautiful dune area and along the most colorful flower fields. Or visit the nature reserve 'Het Zwanenwater'.

North Holland largely consists of a peninsula between the Wadden Sea and the North Sea. There are many tourist attractions including the beautiful seaside resorts of Zandvoort, IJmuiden, Bergen, Schoorl and Groet. You can stroll through the beautiful cities or enjoy the coast. There are many nice places you can visit, in addition to Callantsoog where we are located, there are more nice places. In Schoorl you can visit the highest and widest dunes in the Netherlands, which also makes it an extremely good walking area. Or enjoy a day in Julianadorp aan Zee, where you can participate in unforgettable mudflat hiking tours. Schagen and Egmond aan Zee are also two nice places where you can take a look. Enjoy shopping, enjoy a drink on a terrace or visit the sea, it is all possible in North Holland.
